Sizing a commercial space is about more than floor area — occupancy, equipment heat load, glazing and the hours the space is in use all matter. We design for the way the space is actually used so it cools properly without over-spending on capacity.

Ventilation — not just cooling.

An occupied commercial space needs adequate fresh air, not just recirculated cool air. AS/NZS 1668.2 sets the mechanical ventilation requirements — how much outside air a space needs for its use and occupancy. We factor ventilation into the design rather than just bolting in cooling, because a stuffy, humid room is something no amount of air conditioning alone will fix.

Preventative maintenance contracts.

A maintenance contract schedules regular coil and filter cleaning, gas-pressure checks, drain flushing and electrical checks so units don’t fail in the middle of a heatwave or a busy trading period. Hard-running commercial systems on the humid Sunshine Coast usually need servicing two to four times a year. A contract keeps your warranty valid, holds running costs down, and makes you a priority for any breakdown call-out. Pricing is set per the number and type of units — we quote it on a site visit.
