Coastal strip (Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Kawana, Coolum, Noosa): salt-laden air that corrodes outdoor condensers years early. We spec anti-corrosion-coated units, site them out of the worst spray, and build a salt-wash into servicing.
Established southern coast (Caloundra, Currimundi, Pelican Waters): a deep stock of established homes and a big retiree population — busy ducted-retrofit territory for even, whole-home comfort.
Hinterland uplands (Buderim, Mountain Creek, Palmwoods, Woombye): large lots and large single-storey homes with good roof space, near-ideal for zoned ducted systems and multi-head splits.
Inland hub (Nambour, Bli Bli, Yandina, Eumundi): set back from the sea breeze, so hotter and more humid — older Queenslanders retrofitting split systems, and capacity that has to be sized for the inland load.
